AJ's Concert, Kyle's Wedding, Aaron Runs Half Marathon, Audrey Ballerina, Freedom Park~ March 1st - 16th 2013

AJ's 2nd grade music class put on a performance of Dr Seuss books put to song.  Each class did a different song with a different costume. AJ's class performed green eggs and ham. They did it first thing in the morning so Aaron was able to come watch too! AJ had a few speaking parts that he was very excited about and he did a great job!

Aaron and I went to Brigham City Utah to see my nephew Kyle get married in the temple. It was wonderful seeing almost all of my family there. On the morning of the wedding Aaron and I helped my sister Cara and her husband David get the food prepared and finished decorating the church for the reception afterwards. There is so much to do when you're planning a reception and I was glad we got to help out in some way. Plus I love spending time with them too. The temple was amazing. It was the first time I've been in the temple with the majority of my family. It was a sweet glimpse into the eternities for me. We had a great time at the reception afterwards. Close family and friends were invited for a ring ceremony, delicious dinner and dancing. I loved being with my family and watching all the nephews and nieces play and dance. Unfortunately my phone died and I didn't get to take as many pictures as I would have liked. I'll post more if I can get some more from other family members.

Sunday after church Cara and David took my parents, Aaron and me to tour their office building and shake shack.  It was neat to see and know where they spend a good deal of their time. There was a lot of snow and AJ would sure be jealous.  Afterwards we went back to Cara's to play games and just spend time together before Aaron and I had to head to the airport on a red eye flight back to Charlotte.

One of Audrey's favorite snacks is avocado on toast! She is definitely my daughter!! I can't remember what she ate to make her tongue blue, but she was pretty excited about it.  It was probably a purple sucker since she gets a treat every time she goes to the bathroom.  We are getting close to being totally potty trained!

Aaron ran a half marathon here in Charlotte.  We had fun cheering him on then driving to find another place to park and cheer some more.  I think we found him 3 times during the race, which is no easy task with all the street closures.  He had a great run and we were proud of him!

Soccer is in full swing and AJ is loving it.  He has a good team and coach which is making it a nice season with less drama.

I forgot to take a picture of these doors in the February post.  For the first 14 days of February I would put one heart on each of the kids door that had something I loved about them.  They are still on their doors because they won't let me take them off. Each night Audrey would have me read them to her and laugh after each one was read.  It was so cute!

Audrey loves to wear her princess costume even when riding her bike.  She also has learned to write the letter A. She could do more but she doesn't let me teach her, stubborn girl.

We had fun making Easter egg crafts several days before Easter. Audrey got pretty good at putting the stickers where she wanted.

The kids and I were in a doughnut mood and so off to Krispie Kreme we went.  They are not as good as my daddy's were when he owned a bakery, but they are better than most.

The kids and I went to Freedom park to ride bikes and play on the play ground. The kids also played on an old train sitting next to the playground.
