Tide Pools, Newport Beach, Easter Fun, Graduation Yellow Belt ~April 15th - 30, 2014
AJ is trying to pick an avocado out of Aunt Alicia's tree.
Aaron and Tyler went for a morning run around San Pedro. Then we went on an adventurous walk/hike to the beach. We like to go to the tide pool and find little crabs and other creatures. The kids had a blast and got a good workout.
A cousin pyramid! One of their favorite activities is jumping on the tramp and making up silly games.
What a fun day we had hanging out with Matt Yrungaray and his family at Newport beach. It was beautiful and sadly, cold! The kids didn't care much and had a blast. The adults kept wrapped up in towels and jackets but had a great time visiting. We also had dinner at our old favorite pizza place BJ's on the Balboa Peninsula!
We love playing card games and hanging out with Grammy and Papa. Spring Break visits to California are the best!
After looking at too many kitchen tables, we finally found the one we loved!
The kids enjoyed an Easter party at our Hembstead clubhouse with some neighbors. The rain definitely didn't stop them from participating in the Easter Egg Hunt.
Twinkle Toes and I wore matching dresses for Easter and to take our family pictures. So fun!
We are planing flowers and the kids were so excited to get their hands in the dirt! Luckily most of the dirt ended up in the right places and only some ended up in shoes, pockets, hair....
We are now in the Leadership program at martial arts and are graduating to a yellow belt. The kids and I are still loving it and learning lots. It is a great environment with a mix of discipline, fun, exercise, skill, confidence and energy.
Audrey and Rylee are watching Frozen together on the couch and it was so cute how they arranged themselves.
This year our ward joined with another ward for a day of service at the Matthews Help Center. The kids helped clean the building and make cards, work in the yard, and whatever else we asked them to do.
I got the chance to go into Audrey's tumble class and observe. She loves it and is making good progress.
I also got to observe Audrey in her ballet class with her costume on. She was so precious and it was such fun watching her be so happy while dancing.
