Grandma and Grandpa, Moving, Catabawa Queen, Discovery Place ~ July 9 -23
Our Wyoming visit ended too quickly, but we had a great time. Grandma and Grandpa came back to Charlotte with us. They were a great help on the plane ride, especially with Audrey. For the next week we spent our time packing up and getting organized to move to a house. Before I left for Wyoming I spent a few months looking for a house to rent. It was very stressful of course, but with the help of Tanya, a friend from church, we were able to find a 4 bdr house on a dead end with a big yard and a great school. It was about 10minutes away from our townhouse so we would be changing wards. It was obviously difficult leaving our ward and friends, but I will still see several of them at different church and social activities. Grandma and Grandpa and several friends helped out on moving day. We had some movers come get the big stuff, then we took care of shuttling everything else to the new house. While I was unpacking, Grandma and Grandpa would take Aaron to the pool near our house every day to swim and Audrey napped. Otherwise we went on different adventures around Charlotte. A one hour story time cruise on the Catabawa Queen with milk and cookies served while they read us a few books was extra special. The Kids Discovery place was another favorite. It was fun to see Grandma and Grandpa enjoy everything we did together.
