Always something in hand...

 Audrey is always walking around with something in her hand.  She carries around books, any lotion tube, water bottle, sippy cup, or toy she can put in her mouth.  She also loves to throw all these things, including balls, over the gate she can't pass and make a nice mess for me to pick up. 


I've been trying to teach Audrey to hug or "squeeze" as we usually say.  She is not a snuggly baby, but she is learning. She finally will give a hug/squeeze to her baby, Aaron and I.  She would rather play and sing then hug.

AJ is trying to pick an avocado out of Aunt Alicia's tree. Aaron and Tyler went for a morning run around San Pedro.  Then we went on an adventurous walk/hike to the beach. We like to go to the tide pool and find little crabs and other creatures. The kids had a blast and got a good workout. A cousin pyramid! One of their favorite activities is jumping on the tramp and making up silly games. What a fun day we had hanging out with Matt Yrungaray and his family at Newport beach.  It was beautiful and sadly, cold!  The kids didn't care much and had a blast. The adults kept wrapped up in towels and jackets but had a great time visiting.  We also had dinner at our old favorite pizza place BJ's on the Balboa Peninsula! Family Photos, Black Belts, Halloween ~ October 2016

I absolutely love these family pictures! I had our photographer Lindsey Hart help make a nice display on our living room wall. It will stay there for many years. The family loves playing ping pong together.  They aren't always the most peaceful games but we usually have fun.  It is neat to watch them improve.  Aaron wanted to remember this project he did at school with his best friend Drew. We love listening to Dad play his trumpet, although I can't remember why he is playing in the garage. Audrey and I are taking piano lessons.  We have our teacher Dawn come to our house.  Audrey is learning really quickly and loves to pretend to be performing in a concert.   We invited the Whitmans over to decorate cookies and play.  We love any excuse to eat cookies. Martial Arts Easter Party, Spring Break in California ~ April 1st - 15th 2014

I love springtime!! Our martial arts class met at a park to have an outdoor class and Easter egg hunt.  The class was fun in the sand and the egg hunt even more fun! Audrey and I had lunch together at her school and then played in the park. She is my little sweetheart! My Easter cookies this year! In the airport waiting to board the airplane to California for Spring Break. Audrey and AJ's favorite part of the flight is the take off.  Mine too actually! Everyone wanted to be with Papa so that's where they all ended up to watch a movie, while he took a nap. We love fun Easter traditions like coloring eggs with cousins and of course the big Easter egg hunt.
