Kids Activities, Fun with Dad, September 2014
Audrey is already for pre-school to start again. She is in the oldest class and will be preparing for Kindergarten this year. She is also starting her first soccer season. I hope she loves it since she loves to run, is very competitive, and is a little athlete.
These cuties love the rain! AJ has also suddenly fallen in love with neon! I bought the mirror and had my friend Karin make the temple with the words " see yourself in the temple". I love that each time she looks in the mirror, she sees the temple.
I decorated Audrey's walls. She was very pleased with her mirror that has the San Diego temple on it and pictures of Christ with little girls.
Grammy Roome made a quilt for Audrey with lots of greens and pinks too.
Playing after preschool. She is now constantly asking me to take pictures of her LOL! I guess it will help me not forget to document a moment.
Audrey's playing on her first soccer team. She loves it! She is very competitive and a bit too pushy for this age group, but she is learning. I think teaching her good sportsmanship is going to be tougher than I expected. Aaron still loves soccer and has the same coach that he's had for he last 2 years.
Aaron received some scouting awards at den meeting. He also did a great job retiring the flag.
Just made a yummy cake. I love seeing these 2 nap together. Sundays are great for naps!
It was actually chilly in the house so we turned on the fire and the kids got real close to get warm.
Dad took Aaron to drive go-carts in Concord. They had a great time and made some fun memories together.
Aaron has always wanted to got to Carowinds at night so he could see all the lights on the rides. He and daddy rode lots of rides, even the haunted one!
Happy Birthday Daddy!! I made him a baseball cake and it didn't last long. We love cake in this house!
Aaron was very excited to meet Krishner McAruthur who wrote Girls Who Choose God. She came to our stake and read the book to the children then spoke about herself and the book.
