Discovery Place, Halloween, Grandfather Mountain~ October 2014

Early Halloween fun at the Discovery Place.  Aaron ran off so I didn't get many pictures of him.  Floating bubbles, eating bugs, making slime, looking at dinosaur bones, and decorating your own bag were some of the activities of the night.

Halloween party at pre-school.  Yummy pizza from Costco is the best!

Through Autism Charlotte we got free tickets to the Concord Aquarium.  We explored and had fun seeing all the sea creatures and acting like them ourselves.

Aaron still loves sharks and especially when they are so close, yet a safe distance away!

Our old wooden fence has finally come down.  Now the 3 brick columns are being built.  Next the aluminum fence will go up.

Since we put up an aluminum fence we lost the privacy that the old wood fence provided.  So had our Magnolia trees cut down and replaced them with trees that would eventually give us back that privacy.  The kids loved watching the men work.

Hello Elsa and Steve from Minecraft!

Audrey was soooo excited to be Elsa.  We even found a dress that plays frozen and lights up when you either push a button or set it to motion sensor.  So fun for her when it was dark and everyone could see her dress lit up.  Thank you Target!

Aaron couldn't have been more happy to be Steve wielding his sword.

Our Halloween tradition is to meet with all our neighbors for pizza at the club house then all the kids leave to trick or treat throughout the neighborhood.  The neighbors that live on cul-de-sacs, and there are many,  put a long table at the entrance and all of them hang out there and have their individual bowls for the kids to get candy.  Its great not to have to walk through every house in all the cul-de-sacs.

We also got to go to a trunk or treat at URMA, our martial arts studio.

Aaron wants to eventually visit all the fire stations in Charlotte.  Today we got #9! Don't ask me about Audrey's facial expression??

I made this cake for 2 four year olds who love rainbows and wanted a rainbow cake.

We made our traditional glitter pumpkins to hand out to teachers and friends.

Soccer is in full swing.  I'm glad AJ still loves to play!

Halloween party at the church! Lots of fun and games that the young women and men set up for the kids. Aaron always runs off and I can't get pictures of him! He was here too, just off with the boys playing.

Looks like daddy wrapped himself a sweet mummy!

It that gorgeous time of the year that we take a day trip to the mountains to see the fall foliage.  We decided we would go to Grandfather mountain since it has been 2 years since we were last there.  The leaves were more brilliant than I'd ever seen them!  I couldn't take enough pictures!

Aaron loves hiking around with dad.  He is standing under the Mile High bridge.  Once we got on the bridge and rocks by it the wind was blowing like crazy, but not enough for us to stop us from having a great time!

We love to have Mexican sodas when we eat Mexican food.  Audrey loves orange Fanta, especially when we let her drink it from a bottle.

We loved watching Meet the Mormons!! Aaron wanted a picture with the poster.
