Aunt Cara and AJ's 100th Day School Activity ~ February 1st - 10th
We were sooo lucky to have my sister Cara visit us for a week from North Ogden. We played, made yummy food, visited the Discovery Place, made crafts, shopped and enjoyed every minute with her. Somehow I didn't take many pictures except at the temple, which was definately a highlight of the trip.
We went for some walks and one was to the waterfountain and rock nearby the house. The kids love to get on the big rocks and have me take pictures of them. Everytime Audrey sees a rock that she can sit on, she asks me to take a pictue of her while she sits down.
Aaron drove all of the family and Cara to Columbia, SC to our closest temple. Cara and I went in while Aaron took the kids for a few hours. It was a sweet experience being there with Cara and I loved sharing it with her. Aaron and the kids enjoyed walking around the temple and played at a park near by.
AJ's school celebrated the 100th day of school by having the kids decorate their own shirts and participating in activities that involved the number/counting to 100. AJ designed his shirt of 100 eyes and I glued them on for him. I was able to help with the activites and had fun being there with AJ and his class.
Walking 100 steps, 100 jumps, 100 dots of paint, #100 on a hat were a few of the activities.
AJ's teacher showed me this paper in his notebook. The assignment was to write about someone special to them. This is really sweet.
