Jump Craze, All About Me, Women's Conference, Temples ~ April 2016
Happy Easter! We love our neighborhood.
The kids loved jumping at Jump Craze. They have boundless energy and this is just the right place for getting out lots of energy.
We enjoy going to Carowinds as a family. Usually we split up some of the time since Audrey is still to short to ride the larger roller coasters.
Audrey is learning to ride her bike and doing a great job!
Audrey had been so excited to invite me to school so she could share her special All About Me book. All the parents were invited to picnic with their students and allow their students to read all of the pages of their book. Audrey had me take a picture of each page so Grandma and Grandpa, Grammy and Papa could read the book too. Of course she also read it to Dad when he got home.
Aaron continues to improve in his sparing. He did well during his black belt boot camp.
Aaron and Dad go on bike rides most Saturdays. Its a great activity they enjoy regularly.
Audrey worked very hard during her graduation. She earned her second red belt. She has a great passion for martial arts especially when she is trying to prove herself.
Aaron is wearing all of the belts he has earned. He is a silly boy sometimes!
I look forward every year to being with my sisters at Women's Conference at BYU. We drove to Provo from Cara's house early Thursday morning. It was such a beautiful day and I love the mountains and their beauty. We attended several wonderful sessions, laughed, cried, gained knowledge and was inspired.
We love participating in the different service projects held during the conference. We sewed capes for first respondents to give boys and girls when they need to be brave or are sad.
I ran into my dear friend Brittany Batman right when the Cougar mascot happened to be passing by.
At the end of the 1st day we were able to make bags of dried meals to help feed hungry children. We had so much fun and knew what we were doing would make a difference for many families.
The night ended with an amazing concert. We had a blast and were stunned when Gentri came on and with their Broadway voices stole the show. I could have listened to them all night long.
The next days sessions were just as good as yesterday! I also saw my dearest friend Becky Wooten.
The conference ended early afternoon and we headed to the Provo City Temple. It was stunning to say the least. We walked around mesmerized and took lots of pictures.
Back at home, Aaron was entertaining the kids. He was so wonderful to make efforts to help me get away with my sisters. He is the best husband!
Cara, Cristy and I next went to the Ogden temple. We enjoyed a session and being in the Celestial room together. We walked around to see all the beautiful flowers Cara takes care of at the temple. She loves her work and is such a good gardener.
Next we went to Northern Ice and enjoyed delicious ice cream and shaved ice.
The following day we drove to see Terry Johnson who was our Young Women leader many years ago. She is wonderful and such a fun person. She made us fish for dinner and Cristy had never eaten this fish. She was so brave and actually ate it. We took a picture for Russ, her husband, as proof that she ate fish.
Back at home Dad and the kids went on a bike ride and visited a fire station.
