Soccer, Ballet and Uptown, Hornets Game ~ March 2015
Our sweet adopted grandma Shirley celebrated her 94th birthday so we took over a cake to make it a party!
Audrey is really enjoying her 1st season of soccer. She is very competitive and learning to be a good sport so her games are always entertaining.
Aaron loves the projects he builds and makes. He is very attached to these items so he is allowing me to take a picture of him with them, then we can recycle them.
Playing and hanging out with these two. Below they are looking at a copy of this blog, The Roome Report just printed. Then we discovered how fun wet chalk can be.
Aaron is getting some extra help preparing to try out for the school talent show. I'm proud of him for being brave enough to do it!
Aaron loves choir! That makes me really happy. The concert was entertaining and I could tell he was really happy singing.
Aaron is enjoying another soccer season. He coach is great and really supports Aaron and his team.
We got some free tickets to the Charlotte Ballet Peter Pan production through Autism Charlotte. The kids loved it and it was encouraging to know that we could finally start attending more cultured events that require good behavior. After the performance we walked around uptown and took some fun pictures.
Aaron loves the tallest building in Charlotte! We also visited the Wells Fargo Museum and learned a little while having a good time.
Audrey is experimenting with her sleeping bag and the stairs. She actually didn't get hurt and had a blast! I know because I had to watch her, per her request, almost every time. LOL
There is a slight breeze and blossoms are raining down on the kids! We love spring here!
A little chilly at an early morning soccer game. Dad knows how to keep his legs warm though.
The kids and I have been training with our martial arts studio to perform at a Hornets game. We were nervous and excited at the same time. Aaron loves firetrucks and ambulances so was super excited to see one backstage where we were warming up. We all did well and then enjoyed watching the game afterward. Daddy even got to participate by holding boards for Audrey to break. Aaron and I did a martial arts routine with 25 other students.
I made some fun Easter cupcakes for the teachers this year.
