Audrey's 4th Birthday, Snow Fun ~ January 2014

The kids and I rode our bikes on the Greenway while Dad went for a run.  Here we are waiting for dad who ran a lot more miles then we rode.

It has taken many months and many hands (parents and both sets of grandparents) helping to complete this 3D NYC puzzle Dad got for Aaron.

We have started a new adventure.  Aaron, Audrey and I am taking a martial arts class together. The class is 2 minutes away and we already love our teacher.  This is a journey that will provide confidence, discipline, respect, strength, fitness and fun!

Sue and I are sadly going to miss this little Sunbeam class of 3 yr olds. We loved teaching them and made some fun spiritual memories.

I took these cupcakes to Audrey's pre-school class to celebrate her 4th birthday. Below is a picture of the pink pancakes she requested for her birthday breakfast.

I had a lot of fun decorating this castle cake.  First one I ever made and it turned out great! We invited 3 of our favorite families over for our Princess/Prince birthday party.  The boys played pool, and the girls decorated crowns by gluing jewels on them.  It was a fun night and everyone had a good time, especially Audrey.  The cakes was delicious, of course... : )

I never thought I'd buy such a "girly" bike, but it is perfect for Audrey! She absolutely loved it!

Audrey had "donuts with Dad" at preschool.  The framed picture on the table is so cute. Audrey's teachers dressed the girls up in gowns, hats and purses. Just adorable!  Dad has it in his office now.

We took Dad to the Nature Museum for the first time for the special "Bird Week". The kids loved touching all the birds and even got to touch some snakes.

We had the Rees family over to play and enjoyed yummy snow cones.

This is what happens when Audrey jumps on the trampoline.  And below she is just being Audrey! This picture causes me to shake my head while smiling.  So much personality in this little sweetie.

Aaron had a great time a Mathpolooza competing and having a great time with his team from Elizabeth Lane Elementary.

We are having a great time!  Audrey jumps and bounces around the mat laughing and smiling most of the time.  They love shouting "Yes Mam" and "Yes Sir". Aaron is very serious and puts his heart into each move.

Happy 95th birthday to our sweet adopted grandma Shirley! We will miss seeing her as often as we used to when we lived next door, but we try to see her on Sundays or every few weeks.

Aaron has been praying for snow and it has arrived. Just a little for now, but we are out enjoying it while we can.

Aaron couldn't wait to make tracks with his power wheels. As long as there is snow we will be out playing in it.  It usually only snows a few days during the winter time.

Another day of snow fun!! Audrey and Aaron are very happy!!

Aaron was so excited to find a piece of ice. The kids are gathering all the snow they can before it melts.  They found enough to make a little snowman.

The kids earned a special red stripe for participating in a character building program and completing  25 acts of respect.
