Minature Golf and Thermopolis with Daddy ~ July 1st to July 5th 2012
One activity that we do each time we go to Casper is minature golf at Old Town. This is the first time daddy was able to come with us so it was extra special. Audrey stayed and played with Grandma and Grandpa. She would have had too much fun playing in the water and running everwhere she shouldn't.
After golfing we met Brian, Jessica, Jordan and Finley at a Mexican restaurant and had yummy food. I wish I would have taken a picture of all of us at the restaurant! It was fun to be together. AJ enjoyed making Finley laugh.
While the adults enjoyed another baseball game of Cody's the kids enjoyed candy and a Little Einsteins movie. At least they were watching a movie with cousins and the adults were able to watch the game in peace.
Even though we drive through Thermopolis WY on our way to Lovell to see our great grandpa, we have never stopped to take the kids swimming there. Aaron and I decided to take AJ there for a day trip and go swimming. Grandma and Grandpa offered to keep Audrey so we could have some quality time with AJ. They are so kind and Audrey loves being with them. There were a lot of fun in and outdoor slides and pools. It is just a different experience swimming in hot springs water. The large indoor pool is very warm like a bath and the hot tub there is 103 degrees. Aaron liked it for a little bit and AJ usually loves hot tubs but this was too hot for him. The outdoor pool was cooler but still warm. AJ jumped from the high dive for the first time and was so brave. After swimming we showed Aaron the swinging bridge and park area that we usually visit with Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen.
Very hot hot tub!
While we were at Thermopolis swimming, Audrey went to a baseball game and played in the dirt with her cousins. She clearly had a lot of fun and made a good mess of Grandma's bathtub later that night.
We love to eat freeze pops at Grandmas. Especially when the cousins come over too and we play fun card games like Scum. AJ learned to play for the first time and did really well. He didn't want to stop playing. He also put together a big puzzle with Grandma and did a good job finding the right pieces.
A few days after daddy flew back home AJ and I visited an indoor pool and we loved the slides.
