Fun Run, Spring Cupcakes, General Conference and more... March 28 - April 4th

I love how evolved AJ's stick figures have become. Really creative!! His writing is improving all the time. Below he drew a Dr.Suess animal called a crocodile tailed, bear footed, shark!!  AJ has always had an enormous imagination that just recently has been drawn on paper.  He has talked about his "bearlionhyenna" for over a year now, although I haven't seen a picture of him yet.  He usually just tells us what this animal eats, where it lives and how it defends itsself, even though no one is stronger then it.

On Sundays before church we help AJ keep the Sabbath Day holy by playing games, reading, watching church movies, Living Scriptures, and Veggie Tales, or getting on the computer to interact with LDS.org/friend. This Sunday he did some coloring online and we printed it out.  We got the idea to make a poster for his cousin Stephen who just got called on a mission.  Here is the final product.

Our ward was just divided.  We have a new bishop and after conference we'll all have new callings.  The Relief Society sisters got together since many will be in a different ward.  I made these cupcakes and took them to share.  I wanted to make them look like flowers and I think I succeeded.  I love decorating goodies and taking them to friends.

I made a General Conference Packet for AJ.  He colored, cut, glued and enjoyed himself during the meetings.  Audrey usually slept through the first sessions and allowed us to relax, listen and enjoy each meeting.

Audrey loves "Os" every morning while I get breakfast ready. It is tricky to eat them when her brother is tickling her feet.

AJ participated in a Fun Run to raise money for his school.  He really enjoyed it and ran 31 laps.  I cheered him on and took some fun pictures.

During several laps the kids did different things like flying arms, clapping, hopping, skipping, and one you were supposed to walk with a friend.  AJ chose to walk with 3 girls. He is already a ladies man!

Audrey loves her mornings with daddy.  She either showers with daddy, or plays peek a boo while daddy is in the shower. She loves it!!

Audrey is staring at me because she wants another bite of the powered donut I just gave her!!! Her first one and she definitely has a sweet tooth like her mommy!
