Food glorious Food!




 I love 5 Minute Artsian Bread!!  It tastes awesome. I also just made my first batch of Soft White bread from the same book.  AJ dosen't like the artisian bread, but I think he'll tolerate the soft batch.  I love them both!!!

HELLO DISNEY LAND!! We had a fabulous day with Grammy and Papa Roome. The kids were great, especially with treats to offer, and the lines weren't bad and the weather was beautiful.  We all took turns riding with each other and enjoyed the whole day.   Audrey doesn't like tv, but within the last 2 weeks she started to like Mickey Mouse Club House. I got her a Mini Mouse toy and she loved it.  I was so glad that she would appreciate Disney Land a little more knowing all the characters from the show.  Mini is her favorite, but when we actually met Mini, she was shy and didn't want to be near her.  Right after this picture she warmed up to Mini and had fun looking around Mini's house.     Audrey also enjoyed a little ride on Papa's scooter.  We love spending as much time with Grammy and Papa as possible. Soccer, Ballet and Uptown, Hornets Game ~ March 2015

Our sweet adopted grandma Shirley celebrated her 94th birthday so we took over a cake to make it a party! Audrey is really enjoying her 1st season of soccer. She is very competitive and learning to be a good sport so her games are always entertaining.  Aaron loves the projects he builds and makes.  He is very attached to these items so he is allowing me to take a picture of him with them, then we can recycle them.   Playing and hanging out with these two. Below they are looking at a copy of this blog, The Roome Report just printed.  Then we discovered how fun wet chalk can be. Aaron is getting some extra help preparing to try out for the school talent show.  I'm proud of him for being brave enough to do it! Tide Pools, Newport Beach, Easter Fun, Graduation Yellow Belt ~April 15th - 30, 2014

AJ is trying to pick an avocado out of Aunt Alicia's tree. Aaron and Tyler went for a morning run around San Pedro.  Then we went on an adventurous walk/hike to the beach. We like to go to the tide pool and find little crabs and other creatures. The kids had a blast and got a good workout. A cousin pyramid! One of their favorite activities is jumping on the tramp and making up silly games. What a fun day we had hanging out with Matt Yrungaray and his family at Newport beach.  It was beautiful and sadly, cold!  The kids didn't care much and had a blast. The adults kept wrapped up in towels and jackets but had a great time visiting.  We also had dinner at our old favorite pizza place BJ's on the Balboa Peninsula!
