Audrey loves phones and AJ loves Wii

 Audrey any cell phone she can get ahold of.  She especially loves my phone.  I often show her pictures on it and she loves to see herself and AJ.  She is always happy when she is holding it and searches for it when I try to hide it from her. 


AJ loves the Wii.  He is finally figuring it out.  We got he Wii Fit for Christmas and it helps AJ get some energy out and is a lot of fun.  He still likes Mario Cart best.  Audrey likes to bug AJ when he's playing and watch when the tv makes fun noises.

Destination Wedding in Saint Croix ~ December 6th - 9th 2012

Aaron's friend Chris from Wake Forest Business School invited us to his wedding on Saint Croix, one the U.S.Virgin Islands. When it finally came time to leave it seemed pretty unreal. Last December we were in Punta Cana loving the beach, now we were again able to be on a beach, only an American one, not in America. We flew to St. Thomas, then we squeezed into the plane in the pictures you see above and below.  It held 10 passengers including the pilot.  He turned around and gave us the basic instructions including the no-smoking bit, but if you really wanted to you just needed to step out the door, it was only 50 feet (or something like that). Baseball, Soccer, Botanical Gardens~ May 18th - 24th

 Audrey loves the sand box.  She has no problem getting or being dirty.  The heat also does not deter her from playing in the sand.  I stand in the shade most of the time unless she wants me to build her castles that she can knock down or step on.  AJ's soccer season is over and he had a great time.  Above is a picture of the parents vs kids game we played at the soccer party.  Thankfully this year no parent or kid got hurt.  After the game we had a picnic and the players got their medals.  Audrey ran circles around the field and kicked loose soccer balls around. We had these 2 coaches for 2 seasons and they were awesome with the kids.  AJ definitely improved because of their abilities.  We will miss them as they move on to college in the fall. Hornets Game and the Roome Reunion ~ March 2016

We love to visit Daddy at work.  While there we often go up to the 10th floor observatory and see the city lights. Our stake had a Luau and President Hall roasted a huge pig for us.  The kids love to dress up for any occasion and are pretty experienced in posing for pictures... Our martial arts studio had their annual Easter Egg hunt.  We have fun at all their holiday parties. The kids and I enjoyed watching the St. Patrick's Day parade. We kept thinking about Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen and how much they'd love to be at this parade too since they served a mission in Ireland. Little Miss Audrey and I loved watching the Little Mermaid ballet.  She is getting old enough to appreciate these activities and I'm so happy since I've been looking  forward to taking her for a long time.
