Lobsters,Lego Convention, Bootcamp, Marathon and Clasons ~ February 2016

This sweet little girl earned the Terrific Kid award for this month.  She was thrilled to be chosen and I was happy to see how she has progressed this year in Kindergarten. Below she is showing me the book of poems she wrote.  All the parents were invited to come for a treat and to hear poems read by our students.  She was so excited to share her poems and pictures.

Daddy had a very big surprise for our family for Valentines Day!  A box came in the mail, and something was moving inside!  We opened the box and found live lobsters! We were shocked and surprised! We also might have screeched and screamed a few times attempting to touch them and help daddy cook them for dinner. They were delicious! We definitely made some memories today!

The picture below shows Aaron eating shrimp since he didn't like the lobster?? I'd also set out some                                                            treats for the kids that morning.

I showed up early to Aaron's school and watched a music therapy lesson.  He is always happy to see me come to his school.  It makes me happy too.

I ate lunch with this little sweetheart.  She still doesn't have her two front teeth, but she eats with the side of her mouth really well.

Daddy and Aaron went to a huge Lego Convention and had a blast.  They saw many of their favorite movie characters and played with Legos in many different ways.

Aaron is proud of his Pats logo!

I'm pretty sure Daddy helped build this tall tower... and who wouldn't want to make a Lego angel or be buried in Legos!

Daddy is definitely our Superman!

Audrey is loving martial arts! She is getting better at her kicks and focusing in class.

Aaron wanted me to take a picture of his Lego airplane, firetruck and emergency vehicles.

I went with Aaron's school to the Discovery Place field trip.  The kids had a great time and loved touching the animals, well most of the kids did.  They participated in some fum experiments and just had fun in general.

The kids and I participated in the our first black belt boot camp.  We worked extremely hard and cheered each other on. It was a great experience!

Aaron has been training for the Phoenix marathon for many months.  We were joining Kristie Clason and family there to run and celebrate her 50th birthday. We stayed at a beautiful resort and had an amazing breakfast right by a fireplace. The whole area had gorgeous flowers and trees.  It smelled like heaven too.

Aaron had me enjoy a few hours at the spa pool while he was at a meeting. It was so nice and such a relaxing atmosphere. I loved the napping room and the pool.

Kristy's family planned a surprise birthday party.  It was so fun to be apart of it! She is such an amazing person and many people plus her parents showed up too.  She was so happy and pleased to have so many of her favorite people in one room.

It was a wonderful night, but since Kristy, Brooke, Tyler and Aaron were running in the morning we didn't stay out late.

I dropped off Aaron early the next morning and it was really chilly.  I staked out places I could see him and cheer him on throughout the run.  He did awesome and finished the race in pain, but I was so proud of his accomplishment!

We headed back to the resort for much needed relaxation for Aaron.  I had a massage scheduled for him and sent him there right away.

After much needed rest we joined the Clasons at a basketball game. It wasn't a great game, but we went to be with the Clasons and had a great time!
