Corner Store and Los Angeles Temple ~ April 3rd - 4th 2013
We drove to San Diego to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Carol. We ate lunch at China Fun, Aaron and my favorite Chinese restaurant in that area. It was so nice to visit and catch up with them. We miss seeing them more often but make sure to see them each time we go to California.
Just another day dressing up as a princess!
The cousins went back to school but we met them after their lunch and walked with them to the Corner Store to get a treat. They got out of school a little early and spent some more time with us. It was a beautiful walk with lots of California flowers and trees to enjoy. The kids love picking out some candy and an ice cream at the store. Its a fun tradition when visiting cousins.
One of our favorite days was going to the LA temple. The kids loved looking at all the flowers, fountains, reflection pool, and going inside the Visitor Center.
One of the kids pushed the button to open the door and the nice gentlemen in the back came out. He let the kids look inside and told them that someday they could come inside.
The Visitor Center had been updated and had many interactive centers to engage the kids and teach them about the church. We loved it and got some good pictures in front of the statue of Jesus.
