Ward Christmas Party, AJ's Early Birthday Party, Remote Control Boat ~ December 1st - 9th 2012
Some Thanksgiving art work of Audrey's that I wanted to document.
These few pictures were taken at the church during our Christmas breakfast. AJ and I went and let Daddy and Audrey chill at home. AJ made some cute ornaments, a bubble gum necklace and ate a lot of yummy pancakes. He sang a beautiful song with the primary about the Saviors birth, Jingle Bells, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas and then sat on Santa's lap. In the picture you could see that AJ was being pretty serious with his requests to Santa. It was a fun time!
After the Christmas party we picked up 3 of AJ's favorite friends for his early birthday party. He wanted to go Extreme Bowling where you bowl with only blue lights on and your white shirts glow. Everyone had a great time and most of my pictures turned out halfway decent with the dark lighting situation. The kids ate pizza and popcorn and I made AJ blue, red, orange and green cupcakes with Lego candles on them. I somehow didn't take a close up picture of them and actually dropped the cupcake box right before the kids ate them. Luckily it was dark enough not to notice the imperfect looking cupcakes that still tasted great! Audrey had fun bowling with a little help from the device below, but I forgot what you call it. She thought it was so fun to put the ball on top of it and push it down the little hill. Still can't believe AJ will be 8 on the 23rd.
Daddy got AJ and himself remote controlled boats to drive around at the small pond near out house. It was AJ's favorite present and will provide another fun activity for them to do together! It was very exciting to see the boat cruise around the pond. AJ learned to control it pretty quickly, although he turns it pretty sharp and the boat barely stays upright.
