Playing Around and Aaron's school work ~ November 1st - 22nd
AJ was resting on the couch and Audrey laid down on the other side of him. She let me put a blanket on her and she actually stayed there for a few minutes. She usually only holds still when she is sleeping or when she is strapped down in her high chair. A rare moment for sure! Below are pictures of us one Sunday morning playing with Play-doh and Battleship.
AJ drew the crow you see in the background. I "had" to take a picture of it before we took it down to decorate for Thanksgiving. Aaron's parents, Grammy and Papa, are coming for Thanksgiving on the 22nd and we wanted to decorate. We went to Party City and found some fun and inexpensive fall decorations. Aaron helped me tape up glittery fall colored turkeys, leaves, and pumpkins along with some circular lanterns we hung in the kitchen. AJ did some great art work at school that we hung up for all to see. Somehow, I didn't manage to get a picture of any of our decorations! Oops! I did take some pictures of some of the great work AJ has been doing in school. I don't want to have stacks of his papers around and he doesn't want to throw ANY of his papers away, so we compromised and I take pictures of our favorite ones and put them on the blog so we can have them forever without them taking up any room in my house.
One of AJ's trains that used up almost all of the pieces. Part of the train is under the couch and the chair so he was pretty proud of that. It lasted just until Audrey woke up. Actually she played on it a little too before we sang the clean up song.
This is the certificate Audrey earned for completing her first little swim class. We had a great time in the class. Her favorite parts were singing songs while doing the actions in the pool like "the babies in the pool go up and down..." to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus", and when she would jump from the side of the pool into my arms in the water. She would say "again" after every jump. We'll have many more opportunities to swim together in the future.
Audrey thinks she is so funny sitting in her babies stroller. She has had the stroller for quite awhile now, but this is the first time she tried sitting in it.
I love Groupon. I got AJ a $21 haircut for only $8 dollars. He loved sitting in the airplane and watching a movie while getting his hair cut.
