Spring Break Motherload of pictures Part 1 ~ April 6th - 20th

Look who is feeding herself the day before we leave to California for Spring Break!

And she also loves it when I share my Healthy Choice Premium Fudge Bars... It makes us both so happy!

And she wants to hold the cup all by herself already.  I just have to put a very little amount of water in her cup.  She is very strong and often yanks it right out of my hand or holds it so tight to her mouth I don't dare try to take it away for fear of hurting her .

Hello California family! On Monday the 18th very early in the morning, Aaron drove us to the airport.  For the next 8 hours ish.... AJ, Audrey and I flew on 2 planes, ate lots of treats, watched movies, read books, walked up and down the asile several times, changed diapers (always an adventure on the plane with a 15 month old who likes to wrestle instead of cooperate during changing time), sang songs, and prayed for patience.  AJ was a true champion travelor! Audrey did her best.   We were very excited to land safely and  see our Papa and head right to In and Out hamburger for lunch.

Enjoying a nice park near Uncle James and Aunt Alicia's house where we stayed. The weather was in the low 70's and just beautiful! AJ loves James, Alicia, and cousins Toby, Tyler, Abby, Josh (6 also and his special friend), Jamie, John, and especially Grammy and Papa of course. He couldn't wait to start playing with everyone! It took about a day, but Audrey got over hiding her eyes and being shy around everyone pretty quick.

We miss our California beaches terribly.  San Diego beaches are our favorite, but Cabrillo Beach was closest to Alicia's and we enjoyed being there.

AJ and Abby were the only brave/crazy ones to brave the waters.  AJ's favorite beach activity is to jump the waves with digging in the sand a close second.

Audrey loved to pick up the sand and drop it somewhere else.  She hasn't figured out the shovel yet, but is working on it.  She also decided to see how it tasted, not very good!

Papa was a good sport to come onto the beach with us.  He dosen't like sand, but as a trooper and wanted to be with all of us!  We love him very much!
