Kids Discovery, Drawings, Glue, Chucky Cheese~ March 1st -15th 2012
Kids Discovery Place is a great place to go when there is a day off of school. We brought along Jenna Blauer and had a fun time. Audrey discovered glue and cutting and caught on very quickly!! I couldn't get her away after she started. It had been awhile since visiting and Audrey acted like it was the first time she had ever been there. Very neat to see her react to everything she interacted with and saw. They spent a lot of time at the "store" which makes me laugh because Aaron doesn't like to shop and Audrey asks to go to the store daily.
Aaron made a book of his favorite things and it turned out so cute. He told me what pictures he wanted and he did the writing by himself.
When we walk AJ to the bus Audrey has to have a back pack too! I just haven't bought her one yet.
Audrey was sick for a few days and AJ wrote her this card on the computer. To say that he loves his sister is a serious understatement!!!!!!!!!
AJ finally got his basketball trophy and it was his biggest one so far! He was amazed!
Audrey loves purses and bags and anything she can hang on her arms. Below, AJ is writing an experience he had with the "lizard" for a school assignment. He is also wearing a Dr. Seuss tie I made for him and a friend. They have spent the week studying Dr. Seuss books and each day has a theme. This days theme was "twins".
Aaron's writnig is improving so much. This is one of his spelling tests. He usually gets 100%.
I wanted something besides a wreath, so I make this little arrangement. I love Gerber daisies!!
AJ loves to draw. Lately he had been making very long posters and we display them on one of our walls. He is very creative and each poster tells a story. He made several other drawings on copy paper that he taped together after he finished.
AJ still loves Legos. Here he is showing his class an airplane he made by himself without the instructions since he already knew the instructions by heart. He is so smart and loves to share his creations.
AJ has been doing very well in school. He received the best behavior grade for several days in a row and his reward was to go to Chucky Cheese. He invited 2 friends and Audrey to come along. They had a great time and it was well worth the energy it took to chase Audrey around. She actually didn't really like the little rides because they didn't go fast enough for her. She did love just running around and climbing on everything.
