The Roome Report

  Our Wyoming visit ended too quickly, but we had a great time.  Grandma and Grandpa came back to Charlotte with us.  They were a great help on the plane ride, especially with Audrey. For the next week we spent our time packing up and getting organized to move to a house.  Before I left for Wyoming I spent a few months looking for a house to rent.  It was very stressful of course, but with the help of Tanya, a friend from church, we were able to find a 4 bdr house on a dead end with a big yard and a great school. It was about 10minutes away from our townhouse so we would be changing wards. It was obviously difficult leaving our ward and friends, but I will still see several of them at different church and social activities. Grandma and Grandpa and several friends helped out on moving day.  We had some movers come get the big stuff, then we took care of shuttling everything else to the new house.  While I was unpacking, ...

We went to Casper mountain with Uncle Brian and Lane and their families.  As kids we loved to go their and play in the woods. It was fun to be with everyone and enjoy some food and smores of course.  AJ and Audrey loved exploring with their cousins and playing on the playground equipment.  AJ loves the camp fire and Audrey loves picking up sticks and whatever else she could find. AJ went roller skating with Aunt Cristy and her kids.  It was his second time and this time he had this neat guide thing to help him keep his balance and not fall " as much" as he would without it.  I took a ton of video, but only a few pictures turned out because it was dark there. Audrey and cousin Bella playing at the Discovery Place in Casper.  They are just a few months apart and will enjoy playing together for many years to come.
